Day of Data Detroit 2026 will be a free, community-driven, in-person data and AI event serving Detroit, Southeast Michigan, and the broader Michigan technology community.
This inaugural event will intentionally start as a smaller community gathering, with an expected attendance of approximately 30–50 attendees, with the goal of establishing a sustainable Day of Data community in Detroit and growing the event over time.
The event will bring together data professionals, developers, architects, analysts, AI practitioners, students, technology leaders, and community members for technical learning, knowledge sharing, networking, and professional development.
Topics may include Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL Server, Azure Data and AI, Databricks, data engineering, real-time analytics, business intelligence, data architecture, data governance, generative AI, AI agents, machine learning, and related data platform technologies.
We plan to have approximately 6–8 speakers/sessions in a single-track format for the first event and will invite both local and broader data community speakers.
